WHO PLAYS KINGS? FINAL WEEKEND OF SUMMER BRINGS PLAYOFF RACE EXCITEMENT
Going into the final weekend of the Summer 2003 season, there are three teams battling it out for the right to play the Kings on Tuesday September 23rd for the championship. Sundays Kings game will determine the outcome of the playoff race.

September 20, 2003- Going from worst to first, the Disney Ice Kings clinched the Number 1 spot of the Novice Division with a win last Tuesday vs. the Hurricanes. Now 1 make-up game left against 0.08 will help determine who the Kings will face in one of the tightest playoff races and overall clostest divisions seen in some time.

DI Kings Summer 2003 Left- The Summer 2003 Disney Ice Kings are waiting for their match-up for the championship.- Sundays make-up game vs. 0.08 will have a inpact on who the Kings will face in the Summer 2003 championship game. The Kings will finish on top of the division with either 14 or 16 points. That is quite a bit of difference from last season, where the Kings put up only 2 points, finishing dead last. Originally the game that was to be played on Tuesday September 9th is to be played at 11:15 on Sunday September 21st. Due to a supposetly incorrect schedule posted on another internet site, team 0.08 was not to be seen. Therefore, the league decided to reschedule the game which now will hold a major inpact on who and who will not see the Kings in the championship game.

Currently there is only 1 team that has played all 10 games of the season is the Flames. The Flames are the only team that the Kings have not won this season. They sit in second place with 10 points, 4 points behind the Kings. Still to play their last games on Sunday are Half Fast vs. the Hurricanes, and of course 0.08 vs. the Kings. This is how the playoff match-up works. IF the Kings win 0.08, 0.08 is eliminated from the playoffs. IF the Hurricanes win Half Fast, Half Fast is eliminated from the playoffs. IF 0.08 defeats the Kings, regardless of what the other teams do, 0.08 is in via tie breaker, as long as they stay under 20 minutes in penalty minutes (tiebreaker). If 0.08 loses, and Half Fast wins, Half Fast is in as long as they stay under 20 minutes in penalties. If both Half Fast and 0.08 lose Sunday, the Kings will be facing the Flames in the championship game. Whew!
